What should I do if I lost my Savings Deposit passbook? |

First of all you will have to inform KBZ Bank by phone. Then you will have to go the KBZ branch when you have account to inform and apply for a new passbook. You will need an official police report from police station when you apply for a new passbook. If old passbook cannot be found within a week, bank will issue you a new passbook. |

Are children under 18 year old eligible to open Savings Deposit Accounts at KBZ Bank? |

Only Myanmar Nationals who are 18 years old and above can open Savings Deposit Accounts either individuals or joints. However, a person who is under 18 year old can only open Minor/Junior Account under the approval of parents/guardians. Only the parents/guardians are allow to withdraw money from Minor Account. |

I have a Minor Account for my son at KBZ Kamayut branch. Why can’t I withdraw money from that account at any other KBZ branches? |

Parents/guardians have to go in person and give specific reasons whenever they withdraw money from Minor Account at the branch where the account was originally opened. |

Can I use or ask representatives to receive/withdraw money for remittances? |

Remittance is not a transferable financial certificate or material. For that reason, representatives cannot be able to withdraw money for the beneficiaries. |

No, you cannot pay phone and utility bills by using KBZ Bank yet. However you can pay internet bills to Myanmar Teleport by using the service of KBZ Bank. |

How long does it take for beneficiaries to receive/withdraw funds after remitting money at KBZ Bank? |

Beneficiaries can receive/withdraw funds within minutes if they transfer funds between KBZ branches. |

KBZ Bank uses online technology for remittance transactions which is a lot faster in transaction than any other bank in the country. Beneficiaries can receive/withdraw funds within minutes if they transfer funds between KBZ branches. It is very convenience, safe and saves a lot of time for customers. |

How many times can I withdraw funds from my Savings Deposit Account? |

You can withdraw funds from your Savings Deposit Account only once a week. This is a Central Bank of Myanmar’s policy that all the commercial banks have to follow regarding Savings Deposit Accounts. |

How can I apply KBZ credit card? |

In the past, you could apply for credit card however we have suspended credit card services and not granting them.
